Information we collect and receive
We collect different kinds of information. Some of it is personally identifiable, and some is non-identifying or aggregating. These are the types of information we collect or receive:
Contacts data. We collect data about contacts stored in your address book, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers when you create an account and when you sync your account with Connector.
Log data. When you use Connector, our servers record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website, or your mobile app sends when you are using it. This log data may include your Internet Protocol address, the address of the web page you visited before coming to Connector, your browser type and settings, the date and time of your visit, the time spent on each page, and other statistics.
Device information. In addition to log data, we may also collect information about the device you are using Connector on, including what type of device it is, what operating system you are using, the type of mobile browser that you use, device settings, unique device identifiers, and crash data. Whether we collect some or all of this information depends on the type of device you are using and its settings.
Communication content that you send and receive within Connector. This includes the message content itself, certain personally identifiable information which can be used to contact and identify you, such as an email address, and when messages were sent.
Connector sets and accesses our own cookies on our company-owned domains. In addition, we use third party cookies from Google Analytics and Mixpanel for website analytics. You may opt-out of third party cookies from Google Analytics and Mixpanel on their respective websites.
We do not currently recognise or respond to browser-initiated Do Not Track signals as there is no consistent industry standard for compliance.
How we use your information
We use your information for the following:
Providing the Connector service. We use information you provide to operate the service and to deliver content to and from you.
Improving the Connector service. To make the Connector service better, we research usage data in an aggregated and de-identified form.
Responding to your requests. If you contact us with a help request or a question, we will use your information to respond to your request.
In-product communications. We may use the information you provide to contact you through in-product messaging tools.
Service messages. We may send you service and administrative emails, for example to inform you of changes in our services or our policies. These messages are considered part of the service and may not opt-out of them.
Promotional messages. We sometimes send emails to Connector users to inform them about new product features, or to request feedback about existing features. You can opt-out of these at any time.
Sharing and disclosure
We may share communications content and other user information:
For compliance and protection. If disclosure is necessary to comply with a law, regulation or legal request; to protect the safety, rights, or property of the public, any person, or Minimum Viable Limited; or to detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues. If we receive a law enforcement or other third party request for information we will provide prior notice to the subject of the request where we are legally permitted to do so.
The security of your personal information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. For example, when you enter sensitive information such as sign-in credentials, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the personal information we have collected from you.
Only persons age 18 or older have permission to access the Connector service. Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you learn that your Children have provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we discover that a Child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our servers.
We may change this policy from time to time, and if we do we’ll post any changes on this page. Changes will be in effect immediately after posting in this page. If you continue to use Connector after those changes are in effect, you agree to the revised policy. If the changes are material, we may provide more prominent notice or seek your consent to the new policy.
